Exploring the Cosmos: Sr KG’s Space Journey at UWCEC!

Young minds at UWCEC’s Sr KG took a giant leap into the world of space exploration, diving into the mysteries of planets, stars, rockets, and astronauts with wide-eyed wonder.

Through interactive sessions, children learned about the solar system, the Milky Way, and the role of astronauts and rockets. Creative tools like flashcards, charts, and themed songs brought complex space concepts to life in a fun and memorable way.

Hands-on activities and visual aids made the classroom buzz with excitement, while also planting early seeds of scientific curiosity. The session wasn’t just educational—it inspired a deeper appreciation for our universe and the importance of protecting our planet.

UWCEC’s engaging approach continues to ignite imagination, making learning a truly joyful journey.

In a fun and interactive way, kids improved their gross motor skills by working with clay and patterns. This engaging activity helped develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. By moulding the clay, kids strengthened their hand muscles, fingers, and wrists, laying the foundation for future skills like writing, drawing, and even sports.

The tiny tots of UWCEC used various techniques such as pinching, rolling, and pressing to create the patterns. Kids rolled out the clay to create long, thin shapes. By pressing the clay down, they created different textures as well. This process helped them develop their problem-solving skills and hand-eye coordination.

This activity also encouraged creativity, self-expression, and patience. By combining clay and patterns, kids engaged in a tactile and visual learning experience that enhanced their gross motor skills and overall creativity. The sense of accomplishment they felt when completing a pattern or design boosted their confidence and motivated them to continue exploring and learning.
