Today’s kindergarteners will be retiring in the year 2073.We have no idea of what the world will look like in the next five years, much less 60 years, yet we are charged with preparing our children for future. Our children are facing many emerging issues such as global warming, famine, poverty, health, social and environmental issues. These issues lead to a need for students to be able to communicate, function and create a change personally, socially, economically and politically on local, national and global levels.
Since the inception of the new curriculum, UWCEC has been striving tooth and nail to change the status quo of education.
The UWCEC team encourages the young ones socially, emotionally and intellectually. The competitive morale is boosted and nourished aptly, their ability to learn, create, communicate, love, trust and to approach life with confidence and enthusiasm is enriched. The team also thrives to make the child comfortable so that he feels secure, loved and valued.
These blooming buds learn how to relate, to explore and discover the world and their role in it. Thus, opening up a world of possibilities for them knitted and blended together with speed and quality for going above and beyond.
Overall development of the child being the joint responsibility of both parent and teacher, communication between the two is essential. The need of the hour is educators who are approachable and open to suggestions and a system which makes it easy for parents to have an access to them. At UWCEC, we have a provision for weekly parent-teacher meetings.
