Dusshera Celebration at UWCEC 

Dussehra is the most auspicious festival celebrated by Hindus across India.This festival is also popularly known as Vijayadashami in some parts of the country. Dussehra symbolizes Lord Rama’s victory over the demon King Ravana which signifies the victory of the power of good over evil.

Keeping this in mind UWCEC celebrated the festival of Dussehra with enthusiasm. Students and Teachers were dressed in vibrant and adorable traditional outfits.

A short-animated story of Lord Ram’s triumph over Ravana was shown to the students which explained the significance of Dussehra. Students enjoyed watching it, and they were not only entertained but were also educated about the cultural and historical importance of this festival.

In addition, fun-filled art work such as Finger puppets of Ravan, Apta leaf decoration and Ravan face template was done by the tiny tots.

Students played Garba together and made this event a memorable one. Such events allow the young minds to get connected to the cultural roots of our nation and embrace the values of good conquering evil.

In this way, a day filled with laughter and learning was held at UWCEC.
