UWCEC celebrated Dussehra with immense enthusiasm and fervor, engaging students from Sr. KG, Jr. KG, and Nursery in a variety of creative activities that showcased their artistic talents and cultural spirit.

Dressed in traditional Navratri attire, the students contributed to the festive atmosphere. Teachers presented the significance of the festival through informative PowerPoint presentations and story videos, helping students understand its cultural importance.

The children crafted colorful Ravan puppets, depicting the mythical king of Lanka from the Ramayana, using paper, cardboard, and other craft materials. Meanwhile, Nursery students created vibrant drawings of Goddess Durga Mata, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.

The school’s stage transformed into a lively dance floor as students and teachers participated in a spirited Dandiya session, a traditional Gujarati folk dance. The energetic beats and colorful costumes created an electrifying ambiance that filled everyone’s hearts with joy.

UWCEC’s Dussehra celebration was a resounding success, brimming with creativity, color, and community spirit. This event not only reinforced the importance of cultural heritage but also fostered teamwork and camaraderie among students. Such celebrations play a vital role in shaping the students’ personalities and values as they grow and learn.
