Unlocking Curiosity: Sr. KG Students at UWCEC Learn the Power of Question Words!
Inspiring young minds to think critically and analytically, question words serve as the foundation for inquiry and discovery. At UWCEC’s Senior Kindergarten, students are diving into the fascinating world of “who,” “what,” “where,” “when,” and “why” — the essential tools of curiosity.
Through engaging and interactive teaching methods, educators are helping children understand the role of question words in everyday communication. Using the blackboard, creative worksheets, and lively discussions, teachers explained how these words help us form questions. For instance, “Where” is used to ask about a place, while “Why” uncovers reasons.
Students didn’t just stop at learning—they practised framing their own questions, turning the classroom into a lively space of exploration and self-expression.
This activity is more than a language lesson. It enhances communication skills, boosts confidence and encourages independent thinking. By empowering children with the art of asking the right questions, UWCEC is nurturing a generation of curious, confident and articulate learners ready to explore the world.
