UWCEC Celebrates Republic Day with Patriotic Fervor
January 26th marks a historic day for India, as the Constitution came into effect in 1950, declaring the nation a Sovereign, Secular, Socialist and Democratic Republic. To honor this momentous occasion, UWCEC celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm and pride.
Students and teachers donned tricolor-themed attire, embracing the patriotic spirit of the day. Through an engaging presentation, students learned about the importance of the Indian Constitution and the significance of the National Flag. The celebration resonated with pride as students sang Nanha Munna Rahi Hoon in unison.
Creative activities, including making tricolor caps, badges and coloring the Indian map, allowed students to express their patriotism artistically. Parents were also invited to contribute by sending tricolor-themed food in lunchboxes, adding a unique touch to the celebration.
Students were shown a story demonstrating the correct way to salute the National Flag, instilling respect and discipline. The day was a vibrant celebration of India’s 76th Republic Day, inspiring young minds to cherish the values of their nation.
