Republic Day Celebration at UWCEC
Celebrating Republic Day in preschool helps children understand India’s democratic values and national pride. It’s a fun way to introduce them to India’s history and freedom struggle through activities like crafts, singing patriotic songs and dressing up as freedom fighters.
UWCEC celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and creativity. Children came dressed as different freedom fighters.
The Nursery students made tri-color caps and coloured a worksheet of the flag, the JrKg students made tri-color badges and flags, while the SrKg students had a fancy dress competition. The event was a vibrant blend of learning, creativity, and patriotism, with kids enjoying special tri-color food in their tiffins.
Students were explained about our constitution, diversity of our nation and about our national flag and national anthem through a power point presentation.
The singing group of UWCEC also sang the song ‘Mera Joota hai japani’. The celebration left everyone smiling and full of a sense of nation
