Little Chefs at UWCEC!

At UWCEC, young students are exploring the world of cooking, engaging their senses while learning valuable skills. Cooking teaches basic math, language and problem-solving, while boosting creativity, concentration and self-development.

Recently, the Nursery students participated in a Cold Cooking Session, making fireless pizzas using bread, sauce, tomatoes, corn and cucumber. The hands-on activity sparked excitement and the kids enjoyed every moment of creating their own tasty snacks.

This fun experience also helped the children appreciate the effort their parents put into preparing meals at home.

Addition Made Fun at UWCEC!

Addition Made Fun at UWCEC!

At UWCEC the Sr. Kg. students are mastering the concept of addition in a hands-on and engaging way. After learning number recognition and counting, children begin adding objects like chalks, crayons and books, making Math fun and relatable.

Teachers use practical examples—beads, blocks, and interactive worksheets—to reinforce simple addition. This approach not only strengthens cognitive skills like memory and concentration but also lays the foundation for future Math concepts like multiplication and place value.

For these young learners, mastering addition builds confidence and sparks a love for Math, setting the stage for more complex challenges ahead.
