Nursery Field trip at Kankariya Supermarket
Field trips play an important role in learning. They link the classroom experience with the outside world and in doing so they improve the process of learning as well as enhance the social skills of the children .
Considering this UWCEC organized a field trip to Kankariya Supermarket for the students of Nursery. Here the students were shown various things such are are used and needed by us in our day to day life.
Students were explained the different sections of the supermarket and our little champs enjoyed and replied to the question asked by their teachers.
Teachers also explained to them the billing process and showed them the machine which scans the barcode of the product at the billing counter.
At the end the children were explained that under one roof all the things are available to us in a Supermarket
The visit to the supermarket was a great learning experience for each child.

The school held a special celebration to honor the teachings and sacrifices of the patron of the school, Saint Lawrence. The students were overwhelmed with joy while making a flower
bouquet to offer to the grotto of Saint Lawrence.
Every class indulged in different activities. The students of Nursery made a flower bouquet ,Junior and Senior Kg students drew and coloured the picture of their school on paper. Students were explained about Saint Lawrence’s life and his work as well as explained about his teachings and beliefs, especially his generous nature and his kindness.
Students were explained how we must embrace his qualities and become a human being who is full of love and care and who will always be ready to help others .
