It symbolizes the power of love and the victory of good over evil. Families come together, friends forgive each other and unite to enjoy the celebration of colors. The festival is celebrated for 3 days starting with the rituals of Holika Dahan, Choti Holi and the final day of Holi celebrations.
Students of UWCEC were explained about Holika Dahan, Dhulivandan and Ranga Panchami through powerpoint presentations which included the preparation of Holika Dahan , the rituals which take place during puja ,the importance of using natural colors , not to use water to help reduce water wastage , to be careful with pets and ensure that we don’t harm them while playing colors, etc .
