Republic Day celebration at UWCEC!

On January 26th 1950, the Constitution of India came into effect. On this day, our motherland was declared a Sovereign, Secular, Socialistic, and Democratic Republic which means the people of India got the power to choose the government for their country.

UWCEC celebrated Republic Day with great joy and pride. Students and teachers were dressed in tricolour clothes to soak in the patriotic spirit. Students were explained the importance of the Indian constitution and the significance of our National Flag through a power point presentation.

Different activities such as making a tricolour cap, tricolour wrist band and tricolour aeroplane were done by the students. All parents were even requested to send tricolour food in the lunch boxes of the students.

The students were also shown a story highlighting how to correctly salute our national Flag. In this way our 75th Republic Day was celebrated this year by the students and teachers of UWCEC.
