Spray Painting activity at UWCEC

A spray painting activity encourages children to be more creative and enhances their imagination. It helps them to explore not only their surroundings, but also strengthens their designing and art and crafts skills.

Keeping this in mind, UWCEC organized a spray-painting workshop for the Nursery students where they had to colour different types of cartoon character cut-outs. In this process they learned to hold the brush in one hand and then rub the thumb of the other hand on the bristle of the brush. Students enjoyed spraying multi colours on the cartoon pictures with the toothbrush.

Such activities help to develop the muscles in their fingers and hands and sharpen their fine motor skills as the thumb and fingers are used to pick up and hold objects, to write, to paint, to eat and do various other activities.

UWCEC wishes all Happy Mother’s Day.

The Tent House at UWCEC

The Tent House at UWCEC.
Tents have long been a symbol of adventure and exploration, offering a fun experiment in the great outdoors. But did you know that you can bring the magic of tent making right in the school?
In UWCEC, the students of nursery school explored the art of tent making and created their very own cozy retreat. They made their tent with the help of a mattress, blankets and sari. They then decorated it with the help of stuffed toys. They placed each item with love and care.
Such activities encouraged problem-solving skills, teamwork, and provided a space for quiet reflection or lively play for the students.
Making a tent was a simple and enjoyable activity for the students which provided them hours of entertainment. With just a few household items, we created a magical space where imaginations can soar in the mind of everyone.
