Manners are the foundation of kindness and respect, helping children navigate social interactions and grow into compassionate individuals.

At UWCEC, our Sr kg program introduced good manners through an engaging and interactive approach, teaching key phrases like “Please,” “Thank you,” “I’m sorry,” and “Excuse me,” alongside “action manners” like sitting, eating and conversing politely.

Using PowerPoint presentations, worksheets, and concept stories, teachers explained these concepts step by step, ensuring clarity and enthusiasm. Students actively participated in discussions and were encouraged to apply their learning in daily life.

This initiative not only taught politeness but also fostered social and emotional skills, respect, effective communication and cognitive growth. At UWCEC, we believe instilling good manners early helps children build meaningful relationships and thrive in a connected world.
