Christmas Celebration at UWCEC!

Christmas Celebration at UWCEC!
Christmas is a festival that marks the birth of Jesus Christ and honors his virtues of giving and sharing and spreading joy and positivity. The entire world is brimming with a sense of compassion and love, and everyone is in high spirits!

Keeping this in mind UWCEC organized a Christmas carnival for the students.
There was a beautiful set up done by the teachers. There was a Christmas tree which was beautifully decorated and a scene from the manger was created. A Snowman and Santa Claus were also made to add some flavor to the celebration.

Teachers explained the significance of Christmas through a PowerPoint and story video followed by art activities like making Xmas tree hats, Santa Claus face puppets and a star with Santa’s face on it.

All parents were happy to see the Sr.kg students explaining the significance of the Manger, Snowman and other Christmas related stuff to them.

Students were thrilled to see Santa coming to their class and distributing stockings filled with gifts and chocolates and singing songs of Christmas.

The day was enjoyed by taking photos at the selfie point. In this way the year ended on a cheerful note at UWCEC.

Story session at UWCEC!

Story session at UWCEC!

A story room isn’t merely a place where stories are read but a haven where tales come alive. Whether adorned with colourful illustrations or embraced through the gentle cadence of a storyteller’s voice, this room captivates young minds and kindles the flames of creativity.

At UWCEC, story sessions are made very interesting for the students. Stories are read and then narrated with the help of puppets and other teaching aids. One story is taken for a complete week so that each student understands it. 5-6 questions based on the story are asked by the teacher which – based on students’ answers – gives her clarity whether the students have understood it or not.

Such story sessions help the students to improve their vocabulary and pronunciation. Students learn to frame sentences on their own and try to recall the stories while giving answers which improves their grasping power.

UWCEC presents “Our Planet “

UWCEC presents “Our Planet “
Participation in “annual day functions”, offers multiple benefits to children. It is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the school year.
“Our Planet “was a musical form of a story of an alien who comes to planet earth and learns about the fascinating concepts of education and teachers; prayer, faith and belief; and teaches the children about the causes of destruction on his planet and how they can save Earth from this destruction.
The tiny tots, trained by Atul Narang’s Dance Institute, amazed everyone present with their delightful performance.
The Managing Trustee and Founder Principal, Mrs. Summan Datta in her address, advised the parents to spend quality time with their children, bond with them, be patient with them and embrace them for who they are.
